Body and jaws are quality castings fitted with two steel slide bars, an acme threaded main screw, and steel sliding handle. Vise is portable and features an integral clamp that allows you to clamp onto bench tops up to 2-1/4" thick. The vise also has pre-drilled holes that allow you to permanently mount it to a bench. Jaws are 6" x 2", open to 5" and are pre-drilled for the addition of wooden faces.
